Guest guest
Dear Jane (Nick) and Jane (Jack)--- A lot of Nick's weakness is certainly from not being able to eat. Have you tried Boost? And custards, soups (not tomato-ey), ice cream, scrambled eggs? Now is not the time to worry about cholestrol- -my last bout of chemo-mouth I ate whatever felt good and lost weight anyway. And Jane (Jack)--when Jack looks back on this time, he will remember what he COULD do, not the times he felt down. Both chemo and cancer wear you down, and when you're down physically, you're down mentally and not real open to being heartened. It's sad to try to cheer someone up, but sometimes they need to do it themselves. And I write this from feeling good, with a break till 7/7, but lo! MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT!!! Am already finding bandanas for the eventual. And polishing that Spike line (actually, Doodles Weaver): " Who wants FAT hair?) Off into the day (with houseguests coming, but with impending baldness, the best kind: a beautician.) Peace to y'all Katy
