Guest guest
Thanks ! My goal is 120 (which I haven't weighed since I got pg. w/ Ross by the way). I am back to my pre-pg. weight which I am happy about, but a little nervous still because I am still nursing and the weight came off easily while I was nursing w/ Ross (all but about the last 6 lbs.), then when I stopped nursing I started gaining weight. I got to the point that when I had my ep in April of last year, I weighed the same as I did when I gave birth to Ross. How depressing is that? But, I joined Weight Watchers right around the time of my ep and was down to where I am now when I got pg. DH was teasing me the other day when I said I wanted to buy some new clothes (he said to Ross, " yeah, she needs bigger ones ! " ) when I pointed out to him that I am back to my pre-pg. weight and he said " but not what you weighed when we started dating " That was 14 years ago! So, I kindly pointed out to him that he can't give me a hard time about my weight until his weight is closer than mine to what we weighed when we started dating 14 years ago (he is 6ft2 and only weighed 135 lbs 14 years ago, he weighs about 175 now - he he he !) He was really only teasing though, I know he doesn't care how much I weigh as long as I am healthy. I just need to work on getting rid of this belly now (I never really did after Ross), I need to do some serious crunches or something . Take Care and I hope the next I hear from you is that Emma is here and it was quick and painless ! Guest guest
Thanks Janice. I sure hope so. My goal is not to be thin (I don't think I ever could be, I just like food too darned much !), just be be within a healthy weight range for my height (5 ft tall), as I have family history of high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease and want to try to avoid those things if I can. Take Care and enjoy the 2nd trimester! Kendall > Kendall, > > Congratulations! One pound is wonderful!!!! Guest guest
Vicki, You are so right! I can't wait to be in new numbers either! I don't want to get my hopes up too high for what I'll weigh say a week after the birth, but I do hope I get rid of some of this extra "stuff" without having to do to much. I know I'm going to have a battle with about half of what I've gained, but I'm ready!!! :0) {{{HUGS}}} 40 weeks
