Hi, -

Based on your reports from the beginning, it's really hard to believe some of

the bungling that seems to be going on in your thyca care. You have us, but

how does everyone else in Alabama

manage? :-)

We don't know what the appropriate treatment is until we know that the scans

have been read correctly.

I still have a nagging feeling that you're fine; all the areas of uptake you

mention are normal and to be expected. It takes an experienced radiologist to

know the difference between normal

uptake and abnormal uptake, and I suspect your radiologists are not quite up to

the job.

I think a second opinion is absolutely the way to go; I would have my slides

sent to one of the top cancer centers - Mayo, MD , Sloan Kettering.

Hopefully everyone can move quickly on

this, so you don't have to remain hypo and on the LID any longer than necessary.

BTW - what course of treatment do they recommend for you?
