We were in Iowa last summer for Elijah's treatment, came home with the last cast and the dbb/shoes, and now here we are looking at 9 months later and nearly his birthday! We are returning to Iowa (some 600 miles from home) for a check-up to verify what we think to be true. His feet look great-- but that is the " loving mommy and daddy eyes " making the judgement :0) . We want Dr. Ponseti's opinion-- actually, maybe we are just looking forward to the return... who would have thought that we would choose Iowa as our *vacation destination* two years in a row?! We really loved it there, and are very happy to return (our friends here in ohio think we are crazy-- we just tell them that Iowa may well be one of the country's best kept secrets...it leaves a warm place in our hearts and memories-- that is for sure!) Our appointment is Friday, April 19, is there anyone else who will be around that day? We would love to meet some of you...let me know if you have Ponsetti appointments that day. This is our first time driving from Illinois instead of Michigan, so we're not sure how long it will take us to get there. We'll probably drive there on Sunday and leave Monday after the appt. & (3-16-00) > > Where has the time gone?
