Sheila,

Did you mean to double the amount or just increase it by 1/4 tsp

every 2-3 days - as long as he tolerates it?

What is considered a good trial period for SCD?

Hi Eileen,

The amount is different for every person but as long as he is doing

well with it and not having adverse bowel symptoms you could

probably double it every 2 days. If you start to see die-off -

epsom salt baths and/or activated charcoal may help. If his stomach

pain returns let me know.

(Did you try the epsom salt baths for his agitation? If yes, was he

okay with the baths?)

Elaine says in the book 1 month, but there have been those who

didn't notice any change until after three months.
