Guest guest
Wahooo! Lovely girl I will add this one to the swim suit file. I would not worry about losing more unless you wantto. My friend Bernice is on maintenance now and she walks twice a day so she is still losing and shaping up so my advice to you Barb ( And this is don't do as I do, do as I say) The choice is yours to maintain or lose but keep exercising so you won't gain. Guest guest
Barbara - YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!! Oh to be 135 lbs again. As far as the chart saying you need to weigh 120 lbs., when was the chart designed? I believe the insurance industry and the medical profession combined to make an unrealistic " ideal " weight for our society. My natural weight is somewhere between 140 and 150 lbs. According to the charts I should weight 117 - 134 pounds. This is absolutely not realistic. I am a soon-to-be 43 year-old that hopes to NEVER weight 117 lbs. Like the food pyramid, the weight charts need to be redesigned. Just my 2 cents. Guest guest
Thanks Norma, I'm 5'4 " . I exercise every day. I'm afraid to stop, because of being a night eater. I eat too much at night. It's all legal stuff. I am surprised I never got heavier than I did. I used to eat cookies, entire bags of candy & ice cream in the middle of the night. Now I eat cheese, locarb ice cream, or darrell lea candy. I haven't lost any real weight since September. I think my body is stuck at this weight. Of course I want to be thinner (doesn't everybody?), but I guess I should be glad that I'm not gaining and that I feel good. Barbara >Wahooo! Lovely girl I will add this one to the swim suit file. Guest guest
Thanks , You know it would be nice to be a stick for once in my life. I don't think that will ever happen. I am a little crazy with the exercise, though. I missed today and I feel so guilty and afraid to eat too much because those calories won't be burned. The weird thing is that the more I think about not eating too much, the hungrier I feel. Isn't that crazy? Guest guest
Di, Thanks. My husband keeps telling me that I'm ok. I have never been thin. No matter how much I loose I still see fat. It's nice to have some opinions so I can stop driving myself crazy. Barbara >Barbara... Guest guest
Thanks Susie, I really needed that. I have got to be more realistic and find something I can live with. I don't think I can maintain being in the 120's. I've been there for short periods of time, but could never stay there. I weighed 132 in High School and used think I was fat. I wore larger sizes then, but the sizes have changed. Barbara >Barbara - YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!! Oh to be 135 lbs again. Guest guest
If you feel as great as you look, then I say start maintenance. corky Pictures Ok here's the pictures. I hardly had any of me at my highest weight. This is all I had. I really avoid the camera. Even now, I hate to getmy picture taken. I have a digital camera, now , so my husband tookthe recent picture of me last week. I tried to pose the same way, tosee if I could see a major difference. The first one is 3 months before atkins. The second is 4 1/2 months after I started, while I was on a cruise. (I went off locarb that week)What do you think - 10 more lbs. or can I start maintenance? Thanks,BarbaraPlease visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengersYou will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. To contact the list owner please send mail to lindag@...Visit our 2000 Train Tour Site - http://www.brunnet.net/k & l/web_site_train_tour/actraintour.htm
