Hi ladies- I wanted to send a quick email to thank all of you from

the bottom of my heart for all of the wisdom and advice I have been

given throughout this LONG pregnancy. I cannot believe I am finally

at the end and about to meet my precious daughter. (It chokes me up

so much to say that). I literally do not know what I would have done

w/out the help of you guys.

We are scheduled for a C-Section on Wednesday, the 8th. I am scared

to death, but am so ecstatic about becoming a Mom. I am not excited

about the surgery, but we have decided it is by far the safest thing

for Baby- my only priority.

Any words of calming wisdom regarding a C-section and how fun it

actually is will be greatly appreciated. (or any other baby advice)

i cannot thank you all enough for everything. You are always in my

thoughts and prayers.

Happy weekend.

Love to you all...

Dear Sus

Yes it is me!! Back at last!!! I am so glad you are finally going to meet

your dear baby. Jake and I are doing well. I have been having a few feeding

issues but manage with the good old nipple shield! He is a darling boy; I still

can't quite believe he is mine after all these years of trying.

Don't worry about the c section. As you probably know I ended up having one too

as I went into labour unexpectedly at 10.30 pm July 26 and my obst asked if I

wanted to try a natural birth or go the section. I was too scared to go natural

as I didn't know what my double cervix would do. The section was a breeze. I

was just so anxious, excited, scared and all the rest to realise I would soon be

meeting my baby that the actual event was just a surreal dream and still is when

I think about it. I went to theatre at midnight and Jake was born at 12.40am.

I had absolutely no pain or discomfort afterwards and needed no pain killers; my

obst is pretty good! I have changed my opinion of him! I think the best thing

was that I got straight up the next morning and had a shower and so forth; lying

around in bed is the worst thing one can do. I hope so much you have the same

good experience that I did.

I would love to stay here and yak for hours but believe it or not I have 795

emails to sort through! I will be coming to my sister's again in the near

future so can correspond with you then (mind you I don't expect to hear from you

for a while; baby will be keeping you very busy!).

All the very best for Wednesday; I will be thinking of you

big hugs

tte
