What a difference a year makes!

Hey all, I can't believe it has been a year since I had my C+. I was

supposed to see Dr Mont tomorrow, but, between a brake job and bad

weather threatening, I postponed the drive. No restrictions to lift

for me, no urgency. I'll get there.

Anyways, with no work lined up today, I went deer hunting, hiked for

miles, and finished the day trapsing up and down the aisles of stores

for Christmas shopping. No sore legs, I guess my podiatrist friend

was right, it takes a year to recover from surgery.

If you are recovering from surgery, don't be down if it seems like

progress is slow. It will come.

From videos my wife shot of me officiating a soccer match this past

November, I see I had a limp when I ran. Lord knows if that limp will

show up Friday night, I'm playing indoor soccer at the community

college.
