Guest guest
Hi Melita, That will be a great accomplishment if you should go back and finish school. My wife Pat went back to school at first Lansing Community College in 1988 took all the classes she needed and transfered to Michigan State University going part time due to her health, but she graduated in Jan,2000 with her degree in Psychology. She and I made a deal when she went to school I took care of the house and everything and she just concentrated on her studies. She was 57 when she got her degree so we are never to old to pursue our goals. She is even thinking of going back and getting her masters. Keep up the good work and never let anything stop you in your pursuit of your goals. Guest guest
* . Say,Lynn, I bet if the medicine Tolectin is an older med and the PDR does not list it lets sic Vickie on their case. If anyone can find it she can. If she can't find it, forget it because it don't exist.ROTFLMBO. Remember Vickie I did not know what that stood for until I asked. Thanks for increasing my vocabulary. + Morning Sue...ah, lovely, cool morning here, but it's going to warm up. Darn! Yes, Tolectin is still available. I do know that the manufacturer doesn't have it in the PDR cause they have to pay for it and would rather promote the newer drugs. I'm on Celebrex, have only been on it a few days and don't feel any better. And I agree with you, our Vicki is the best researcher bar none! So, what are you up to this weekend? LynnLife is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint onit you can. -- Danny Kaye

Guest guest
Hi, Lynn. I found it took about 2 weeks before noticing a difference on Celebrex. Hang in there!! Guest guest
I was only able to get 2/3 of my infusion because I started having difficulty breathing and my pulse and blood pressure spiked. My feet were also starting to swell. My nurse called my doctor and he thinks that with the amount of infusion that they were trying to get into me, I started retaining fluid in my lungs and that caused my heart to work harder. He ordered it stopped and ordered lasex. I spent about an hour in the bathroom and they waited til my vitals were all normal and then sent me home. I was a little upset, my eyes even teared up but it was probably best. Next time they are doing over two days with lasex half way through. Hoping that works for me!
