Guest guest
Do you have something for your car so you can get your scooter in and out by yourself?? I wish I had something like that. I can only take my scooter with if I have someone to lift in the car for me.... Zanna

Guest guest
I have an electric hoist. The only problem is that my trunk is small and it is a tight fit which means I have to tug to get it over the edge of the trunk so the hoist can lower it to the ground. Also you have to take the seat off and put it in the back seat of the car. That means luggng it to the scooter and getting it centered on the holder. After sitting on it the seat settles so it means yanking trying to get it off. It's a real job and wears me out. Had hopes of getting an outside lift but found out my car isn't heavy enough to take the type of hitch it needs. I need a mini van but can't afford it. Owe too much on my car to trade it in yet. Guest guest
Either type would probably work in your blazer. I don't know about your insurance but mine doesn't care if you ever leave the house........they don't pay a cent. Teddi mailto:teddifromok@... Guest guest
I am thinking that will be what my insurance says. They had no hesitations paying for this 12,000,00 infusion of IVIg but they are not paying a 300.00 bill for my chest CT because they need a letter of necessity after paying for the hundreds of x-rays and PFTs, they still won't pay for this without yet another letter from my doctor which no doubt, I will have to pay for too......can't win!!! I have been tracking all my medical costs right down to mileage. It is unbelievable what we have spent. Can't imagine not having my hubby's income as well. I say a lot of 'thank God's' every day!!!! Guest guest
Lem We finally got some rain last night. Still raining lightly this morning. Weird how it goes isn't it? My granddaughter lives west of Council Road and they get a lot more violent weather than we do here. Have you sent Beck out to Braums for some lemon custard ice cream yet? <vbg> Teddi mailto:teddifromok@...

Guest guest
Oh Teddi, what a horrible experience. I hate having IV's put in. I was hospitalized for a week once and they had to change the IV's and take blood every 2 hours. It just burned after a while to have a needle inserted. For a long time I had to have them use butterfly syringes but now for the past few years it hasn't bothered me so much. Don't blame you, though, only give 'em one chance!! LOL Zanna

Guest guest
When I was in the hospital last Jan. for 5 weeks, they had to change my IV every 5 days or so. One day after the nurse changed it, I was having my lunch and glanced down at my arm and it was as purple as a plum and looked like it had been blown up like a balloon. There was one part of my lower arm that literally had this huge air pocket blown into it. I immediately buzzed the nurse and was screaming and crying for someone to come quick. The nurse came in and removed the IV and explained that the IV had gotten dis-located and ended up in the tissue and muscle instead of the vein. I was never so scared in my life. The purple bruise covered my entire lower arm and remained that lovely hue for about 3 weeks. Scary.... Dawn mrsxanadu@... wrote: > Oh Teddi, what a horrible experience. Guest guest
Hi Teddi, we passed through Teddi town today. Beck went to see her neuro. She had a good check up. Teddi, what is your drs. name? I need a doctor that knows about DM and is interested about my well being. I did get my papers sent in to the MDA. There is a MDA clinic at Childrens hospital in OKC. I hope to be able to see a dr. there but they told me it would take 4-6 weeks to get a appt. I am totally sick and disgusted with the whole business. Glad to hear you are feeling well and able to do your beading. I am still working on phs camero and I think we will have it done this week. Lem > Lem > > Get another doctor NOW!!!
