Guest guest
Hi , If you can tolerate dried beans here is one that uses mainly white navy beans (just leave out the hazelnuts): http://www.scdrecipe.com/r_048_00070.html Sheila 45 mos SCD, 20 yrs UC mom of SCD 30 mos > not find a stuffing that is SCD compliant w/o nuts. Hello: Here is a nut free stuffing recipe. I am trying it for the first time this year so can't tell you how good it will be. I plan on using the sausage recipe from Lucy's cookbook. Sausage and Herb Stuffing 3/4 lb. turkey sausage (you may use pork breakfast sausage) 1/4 cup finely chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped red onion 2 eggs 2 cups coarsely chopped cauliflower 1/2 cup diced yellow squash 1/2 cup grated parmesan 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley leaves 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh sage leaves 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves 1 Tbsp. minced garlic 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. fresh ground black pepper Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove sausage from casing and crumble it into a pan over medium heat. Add the celery and onion and cook, stirring, until browned. Drain fat if necessary. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Using a spoon, mix in the sausage mixture and all the remaining ingredients. Pour the stuffing into 8 by 8-inch square baking dish and bake until hot and browned, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately. Hope this helps
