Don't you just feel great? :-) I'm so pleased for you. <<I do have a question regarding IC and cerclage. Do you know when the baseline is usually measured? Is this something the OB will do right away at my exam next week, or do they usually wait until weeks 10- 12? I can't remember when anyone has had it done. Is it something I should request?>> Should be sometime in the first trimester, at or before 12 weeks. My peri was a believer in doing a cerclage very early, at 10-11 weeks, so I got a manual and US baseline exam at 10 weeks. Under ordinary circumstances, you would not be getting a thorough OB exam until 8-10 weeks, with Pap smear, etc., anyhow, and the cervix is not under any pressure before 12 weeks, although this may differ when there is a MA.
