Guest guest
Hi , In PA, has been receiving medical assistance through the medical loophole. This loophole includes...from what I remember......all children (I am NOT sure how it relates to adults) with either 25% delays in two areas (ie. gross motor and cognitive) or a 50% delay in one area. Also included, as I understand it, are all children with hearing impairments. On a number of levels, because there is growth and retardation in the description of CHARGE, this diagnosis seems to be acceptable for medical assistance. Again, has quailfied for years. I know they are looking to change some things, right now they are looking at including income levels and assigning a monthly fee on a sliding scale but this has not been done yet. Income is not a factor currently. Colleen
