OT: Water filtration systems

Hi,

I am looking into buying a water filtration system for my house.

Something that can be hooked to the water line getting into the

house, so that every shower and faucet has filtered water. I don't

know if that would be a lot more expensive than buying 2 or 3

filters for the kitchen faucet, the shower, etc... Also there are

different filtration methods. I am pretty sure someone here has done

the research already, and if you would e-mail me with your input, or

resources, that will help me with the time crunch.
