Hi,

Im still in the hospital with joziah.

and alot has happened since my last posting but, as of yesterday

afternoon, Praise God, has been smiling and giggling and is the

loveable little boy that i have missed for two months since Nov 10.

( first seizure on Nov 11)

He is 4:1 975Fluid, and Topomax 100 mg /3@day and has had very high

fevers 101 to 103, and was very tachycardic 200 to 230bpm. He was

very badly dehydrated, skin rashes, lethargic, and developed a blood

infection from the central line ( we think) So i got them to lift

the Fluid restriction, give antibiotics, and tylenol And Boom, His

fevers went away, his heart is coming back to normal, and hasnt had

a seizure in over 36 hours... and counting....

He isnt spilling ketones, but as long as we have seizure control Im

happy, dietician is happy, and Neuro is happy.

She cried today when she heard him laugh for the first time.

I just wanted to share this with all of you, seeing my son come to

life again is ..... I cant find a word that expresses what my

husband and I feel. God Is Good

I Hope from the bottom of my heart that you all get to experience

this success ( even if its just a small one) and joy with your

children.
