Mandy,

I have frequent stomach problems, but when I have been off of Coumadin for

three or four days before surgery, it didn't seem to make any difference. The

stomach problems would persist. I don't know if that exonerates the Coumadin

from being a culprit in stomach problems, but I just thought I would mention it.

Been reading the posts about coumadin with interest.

I've been on coumadin about 2 months now, and recently have had a

bout of diarrea off and on for a week. This is the only new med I

have been on, so I am suspicious about the side effects. Last week I

was constipated, and this week I have had diarrea. Anyone else had

this problem with coumadin, or maybe its just a bug of some kind?

I've had a colonoscopy and ultra sound on all my organs within the

last year so I know this is a side effect from something.

In my " Pill BOOK " it lists diarrea and abdominal cramps as a LESS

COMMON side effect to coumadin.

Sorry for the tardy reply.

Since I was put on Coumadin, about a month ago, I have felt fairly

lousy, much mire so than before when I could ascribe

Worse than normal feeling to Sotalol. I have not experience stomach

problems, but nausea was one of my complaints. All the doctors I have

consulted claimed they have not heard of any unusual side effects due to

coumadine. So we looked for something else (blood tests, MRI etc) and

answers were negative. So I still suspect coumadine, but I have not put

it to a test by halting the take of coumadine for few days.

Regards

Joe
