Thank you very much for all your info. We had a pretty rough day

today. We got up this morning and got on the road. We actually got

to the Children's hosp 40 min early. So we were excited. We walk in

and they say, you didn't have an appt today. He was suppose to be

here tues. Which we had already had a misunderstand such as this 2

weeks before, so I told them we weren't leaving without being seen.

Anyway, they removed the cast, and omg i have never been so heart

broken and shocked as I was when i saw my sons foot. He had an

extremely bad open sore on the dorso. And his back of his leg looked

misformed. It is all swollen and sticks out above the ankle in the

back I can't really explain it, and my digital camera is awful for

taking pics like that, but if i can get a good pic of it i will add

it to the photo. Anyway, he adjusted really well to the shoes. He

only cried when we ptu them on. After he was fine. We took them off

this evening for about 30 min then put him in the bath and he had a

blast. Then it took us about an hour to get the shoes on right. His

lower leg is still swollen. Is this normal? I am scared it almost

looks like someone snapped his bone or something. Anyway, as soon as

I finally got the shoe on he was content and went straight to sleep.

So I will try to find some clothes that snap all the way down and I

will only take his feet out when really needed cause I am scared to

death i am gonna hurt his poor little foot. I know the orth dr said

today its called tough love. But I can only handle pushing his foot

so much.

Well thanks again for the advice, I am adding a couple of pics one is

of him in the crib laying on his tummy. All you can really tell from

it is that his foot is turned like almost sideways. Is this normal?
