Guest guest
I went to the oncologist for the first time this morning. Have dreaded this appointment but now feel so relived. I guess I should not be yet till I have the colonscopy next Thursday. First of all he does not think the colon cancer has returned. He said PET scans were only accurate 70 percent of the time. I thought they were the best to have. I have posted before with my problems of infections since surgery and that is probably what the Pet picked up. He examined me and looked at all my records and previous films. My CEA keeps going down. Last was 6.8 but I am a smoker. Nothing has shown up in the many cat scans and MRI's that I have had. He wants me to have a colonscopy and if that does not show cancer he does not want to see me again. Hildreth
