Guest guest
My spunky little Grandma (93 and sharp as a tack) suffered a hematoma in her forearm - it's clearing up, but I noticed that the hospital folks had put a piece of " tape " over her arm where the vein had broken. I use the word " Tape " very loosely, since I recognised it as the cross between Super Glue and Saran Wrap that had covered the bandage for my incision. And when they pulled it off my hip, it took chunks of flesh with it!! That hurt worse than the incision ever did! But Grandma's skin is already like tissue paper - I'm afraid that if they try to pull it off, it'll peel her entire forearm to the bones. Any suggestions I can pass along to her on how to get the stuff off without losing flesh?? Thanks from both of us! Deb and Grandma
