Guest guest
As a member of PEMSS you already have a mutual aid agreement in place, or should. This was done approx. 1 year ago. I do not believe there are any providers in the PEMSS system that did not or have not signed the agreement. fritchemsdirector wrote:I have been getting emails telling me I need to stick with PEMSS, etc. I want to say I have NO intention of pulling out of the system. I want to go to other PEMSS providers and try to get their staff to come over to Fritch. We are again in need of assistance, and I want to tap outside resources. It is much easier to get someone on the truck who is already familiar with the PEMSS system and who has a medical control number. Believe me, if I had any intention of pulling out of the system, I would not have spent 10 + hours making protocol books today for the service! I also was looking to see if we needed any mutual aid agreements, like we have to use back home. I guess Dumas would be the only one I need. I think it would be beneficial, if we could share volunteers as a coop between services, thus my email is targeted to rural providers. I know the City services, like AMS, Borger, etc., have full time jobs & probably couldn't spend much time up here. I am going to be running an ad seeking help, with PEMSS system experience preferred. If I can generate some revenue, then we may consider hiring a part time paid crew, and would want to tap area resources, outside of Fritch. Everyone is assuming by the post that we are contemplating a pullout. That is not the case. I am looking at ways to get the funding we need for the 2007 requirements in the new protocols. jh > > I have been a paramedic for 23 years.
