Gail,

Isn't that a rush, the people cheering and stuff?! I loved that!!!

Makes you want to keep going all the more. Did they do any other stuff?

Like the one I did has a porta potty decorating contest. It's

hilarious! They get all decked out in costumes and all. Then along the

way there were different little bands like a maurachi (sp?), string

quartet, native drums, bag bipes. It was great! They also had under a

big top before hand some yoga, stretching and cheering and stuff and

then after tables with t-shirts, water bottles, food and stuff. I

couldn't believe how much went into it all! The Walk for women is

nationwide I believe? Maybe you could check into that one? It's in June

here. You can choose to do 1 mile or 5 on that one. I've already missed

a few of the races but will be doing that one. There are sure fun

though!
