Is there not a law on the books or an option the Governor of LA can impose that

allows bordering state paramedics to function in LA. I thought something like

this came to light during the OK bombing and NY crisis. I just can not imagine

the EMS system being able to handle this type of situation without some outside

assistance.

That is what FEMA and DMAT are for. Also, if the governor were to make a

call... well, I'm sure it would be answered without thought to licensure

issues.
