Well, it's finally over and I'm sooo relieved. I was convinced that

something horrible was going to happen during surgery so I'm thrilled

it went well. I had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia and I

was vomiting and shaking through the night but other than that there

haven't been other complications.

The bleeding is very minimal and I'm not having much pain at all!

The doctor gave me before and after pictures and the septum was VERY

broad. the actual uterine cavities were each very tiny compared to

the size of the huge septum. The doctor also said that it wasn't

maleable at all so he really is sure that's why my pregnancy didn't

progress past the 17th week--no room! The after picture looks good

and I'm just looking foward to coming in at the end of the month to

check it out.

I was thinking of having an HSG at the end of the month, but I was

wondering if a saline ultrasound is as affective at visualizing if

the surgery was a success. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks for everyone being so helpful and for all of your well-

wishing! Ann, I'm so glad you found the site. Like I said, this

group has provided me hours and hours of reading and much support

when I just felt overwhelmed with all of the prospects facing me and

my fertility.
