Guest guest
We are on the south shore, but willing to travel a little if it is worth it. Our hospital only recommends the hearing aids, they don't sell them.

Guest guest
Kerry or , Kerri Hicks used to highly recommend a practice in Weymouth. Do you know that one? We have been very happy at Rhode Island Hospital. I have had a resonable experience at West Newton Hearing Center, though I like our audi at RI Hosp. But if you're on the south shore then the Weymouth place is worth checking out. I haven't heard from Kerri on the list lately. I'll send her email and see if she has contact info. Guest guest
You can also try Mass Eye and Ear in Boston. They have a program that you pay an annual fee (I believe it's around $300-400) and you " rent " their hearing aids for this fee. The part that I've heard some people like is that you can try out different aids during the year. I don't have a specific audi there to recommend -- we just looked into their program before getting a CI. -Jen Mom to , born 2/21/01, N24C 3/1/02 jborhegyi@... Guest guest
- We go to South Shore Hearing Center in South Weymouth. We use Ellen Curran there and strongly recommend her. They have 2 other audiologists there who work closely with children, although they are still early on in their careers. I really, really, really like this practice and have a great relationship with them. 781/337-6860. I have not heard good things about Mass Eye & Ear for children, but that info is dated by about 18 months. There is also a good practice in Quincy, MA that I could get info on. Stay away from Braintree Rehab. If you want more info on them, feel free to email me privately. Feel free to tell them that Hadley's mom sent you there-- we are very close now to the front desk staff! Kerry (on the south shore too) Re: hearing aid question We are on the south shore, but willing to travel a little if it is worth it. Guest guest
Yeah, yeah-- that's the place that Kerri Hicks (was a Listen-Up mom too) recommended to me. At the time I was living in Providence, RI and didn't want to make the trip. You folks who live in Texas would laugh at me for that one, with good reason. Anyway, I've also heard wonderful things about Ellen Curran. Good luck. Daphne
