Guest guest
Hi everyone! My name is and I am so amazed to find this group tonight! I would have loved to have found this group 2 yrs ago when I first became pregnant! I felt so alone trying to find any advice, info etc online, and I never found this group! Now my little munchkin is 16 months old, and NOW I find all of you! Figures! :-) Oh well, DH and I are still very undecided about whether we want to have another child in the future, but if we decide to travel that road again, I'll have someplace to talk to others who know where I'm coming from! Anyway, I have didelphic uteri and 2 naturally occurring cervixes, as well as a vaginal septum. My pregnancy was in the right side. I had issues with both incompetent cervix and preterm labor, but in long run it all worked out just fine. :-) Glad to find you all! melissa

It would have been nice to know before so that they could prepare you for things like IC and PTL. We found out about the UD very very early in the preg. Previously I knew only of the septum. However, we had great doctors who were on the lookout for the IC & PTL from the get-go. We pretty much lived in their offices, LOL! And we were very fortunate that by chance the baby was in my " better side " . Neither of my cervixes developed properly, and the left is much worse, so I fear what a pregnancy in the left side would have been like. We had a bunch of other issues as well, so the pregnancy was just....I don't even have words for it! We have not decided if we will try for another someday or not. Although the Drs. are sure we will eventually want to. They have a plan for baby #2 already written out, LOL, but I was strongly encouraged to wait at least 2 yrs before TTC again. I don't know if I'll be ready to try in just 2 years! But if we do try again, I want it to be before that magical 35 yr mark when they add " advanced maternal age " to my list of " issues " ! ;-P And I'll be hoping we can have another right side pregnancy. I could go on forever, but this post seems too long already! :-) Thanks so much for the welcome!
Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group! This is a wonderful community here. Thanks for sharing your success story -- it's always wonderful to hear to keep the hopes of those TTC-ing alive.
