Hi Laurie,

Many of us can relate to quite a few of your symptoms. I had the numb hands

in the morning and still have the stiff neck all the time. My RD had me buy

bowlers splints to wear at night and they helped enormously. They keep your

hands imobiized. Also a soft collar helped me when I had RA, but I find it

doesn't help me at the moment, so maybe the problem is in another part of the

neck. I myself think there is a contagious connection having most of my

family ill and funny you mention your dog because my dog has Cushings,

arthritis and just diagnosed today with leukemia and a slight heart murmur

and I am heartsick about it because she is beside me when I don't feel well

myself. I was wondering if I should try to get techtracycline for her, if

it would help. There has to be some connection. There's too much of a

coincidence.
