Guest guest
If I say I think he has been I'm in trouble right??!! (LOL) Seriously though no more than he was before. He has seemed a little more tired which would account for a bit of irritability. Could this be a possibility? It never hurts to mention it especially if he's much more irritable than usual. Has he seemed depressed lately? Not all depression is displayed by sadness. Some is characterized by anger or irritation. Narice

Guest guest
Joyce, As a matter of fact, yes,Hubby was very irritable while he was on avastin.I never thought that it may be the drug, just chalked it up to feeling miserable in general. But he nearly drove me nuts some days and he is normally a very easy going, mellow kind of guy! Hugs & Prayers, H S/O 'Hubby'52,diagnosed 7/31/03 inoperable stage IV, 5/20/04 CT scans show significant progression of disease,CEA^1060, discontinued 3rd-line chemo(avastin/cpt-11/5fu/lv) Awaiting " Plan D " > Has anyone taking Avastin noticed that they are short tempered and > irritable? > Thanks, > Joyce
Guest guest
Narice and , Thanks for your replies. It's been a long 4yr battle for us and I think it's starting to get to both of us. has always had his ups and downs but since the Avastin-Xeloda treatment he has even noticed his own irritability. It helps to know what other's are experiencing. I try to sit myself down and ask how would I act if I were in his shoes. I must admit that I probably would be unbearable. Thanks again, it just helps to vent sometimes and admit that I am not as strong as I appear to be. Best Wishes, Joyce > > Has anyone taking Avastin noticed that they are short tempered and > > irritable? > > Thanks, > > Joyce
