Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group. I live in the Atlanta area. I am 4 months post-op from lap RNY and found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant. I have lost 63 pounds so far. Down from 332 to 270. I am very at peace about being pregnant. My surgeon was very supportive and positive. I wish I could have gotten under 200 before I got pregnant again, but God had different plans. I have 4 other children: 13, Zachary 6, Noah 3 and 21 months. The kids and my husband are very excited. I work weekends as a Labor and Delivery nurse and homeschool the kids during the week. I am glad to be here and hope I can participate in discussions. I look forward to getting to know you all. God bless,

Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Dave- what a wonderful number of responses you received. I love to hear everyone talking because I always learn so much. I think it's so important that we recognize that there is a known correlation between digestive issues and mental illness. Here's a website I think is correctly informative. www.gutand mental illness.com I also have multiple family members diagnosed with BPD and I suspect my husband and some of his family. But regardless. He is diagnosed ADD as is my father and sister. ADD is a co morbid disorder(commonly goes with other disorders)and I believe at the very least they also have ODD (oppositional Defiant disorder) which is the precursor to Personality disorder. Autism, aspergers, OCD, ADD, ODD Bipolar and sizophrenia and Personality disorder are all on the same spectrum continum. Just pick your family gene pools flavor. The medical knowledge isn't full not even close. And if you think your family doesn't have a digestion issue without a scope you don't really know it can be there and so easily missed.
