i found this site six days ago and wrote my first " post " . it was in

regards to finding help for my mother...wanting to find relief for

her pain while dying from breast cancer. i got some great ideas

from people here and really caring replies, thank you. i'm writing

tonight in deep sadness, mom passed away this morning. i am happy

to say though, she passed in peace, in her sleep, virtually pain

free. she received her last rights yesterday, and my sisters and i

were able to say our last good-byes and give her " permission " to go,

letting her know we would all be ok, stick together, and take care

of eachother.

two weeks to the day we found out mom had breast cancer and now she

is gone. finally at peace, and no more suffering. it has been very

difficult, but i know now she is in a better place. laughing,

dancing, and running free...with all her family and friends that

have passed before her.

thank you to everyone here for keeeping mom and our family in their

thoughts and prayers.

love,

melanie

I am sorry to hear about your Mom. You and the family will be in my prayers.

If you would like to stay in the group and share feelings etc that would be fine.

, I'm so so sorry about your mother. My mom and I are both fighting breast cancer now. My mom's has metasticized. I am glad to hear that your Mom died peacefully, not in pain. She had the last rites and she is free now and in the loving arms of her Father. My thoughts are with you and I hope that you and your whole family find peace and solace in knowing that your mother did not have to suffer long. Whatever it is that brings you comfort, I hope it comes to you quickly and long-term. Take care of yourself. Jill

I know what you are going through. I hope in some way I was able to

warn you that you mom was dying. I am glad you were able to let mom

know it is ok to go. I had to do that. I was the only one that could

tell mom that.

Today is moms birthday she would have been 67!!!!

If you ever need anyone to talk to send me an email.

Mike
