Hi All,

Well, Brenton is now 17 days old. He arrived via emergency C/S on July

12th. He was 34 weeks 4 days gestation. For those of you that I have

" met " and " talked with " before, you may recall that I was on the

t-pump, and was taken off at 34 weeks. I had been asking how long

until I went into labor upon removal...well it didn't take long!!!

Gross breakage of the amniotic sac, as one of the L & D nurses stated.

Brenton was footling breech so the paramedics/sheriff had to break in

through the front door side lights to pick me up! " The break " waited

until 20 minutes after my dh left for work, of course :)

He was 5 lbs 2 oz, and 18 inches long at birth. He had to spend 12

days in the NICU for some complications, but was welcomed home last

Saturday. I've also had a few problems so have not been on the boards

much. (Not that I had been active for months while on bedrest.)

It has been a very long, difficult journey, but we have finally been

blessed with our miracle baby. Interestingly enough, we found out that

my UU situation is different than first diagnosed in the late 90's,

and I will probably be looking at a future hemi-hysterectomy (I

believe that's the term).

I hope to come back to the boards in full swing soon. Until then, I

will try to drop in now and then.

Big thank you to those of you that have been so supportive and

informative. We wouldn't have made it without you!!

/UU/30
