Your sister is definitely in my prayers sweetie. What did the dr say about the low beta and prog? Did he put her on medication? I'm here holding my breathe with you.

my sister's #'s are very low...

beta 47

prog. 7.5

The progesterone needs to be at least 15, so we are in a waiting game.

Please keep praying.......I am sooooo worried, I can't stop crying.....

The progesterone needs to be at least 15, so we are in a waiting game.

Please keep praying.......I am sooooo worried, I can't stop crying.....

she didn't see the dr only some nurse or aid who drew her blood. The "idoit" told her that if her #'s didn't double she would get suppositories and an u/s.

Now this is my dr too and he told me he does NOT give progesterone until he sees the baby in the uterus. He feels that if ihe gives it and it is an ep, then there is greater chance of the tube rupturing.

As for the u/s, I thought you couldn't see anything in the uterus until your beta was at least 2000?? Unless her #'s drop and he wants to see if he can see tissue???

I don't know, I am confused, sad and just pretty angry right now. I know I can't control this but it's worse for me to see my sister suffering than it is for me to go through it. does that make any sence??

I guess all I can do is keep praying.

I will keep you posted. She should have her 2nd set of #'s by noon tomorrow. I told her to ask to actually get to see and talk to the dr or np...

If it is ep, they can usually see something in the tube before 2000. When was AF due? How many weeks should she be?

I didn't know they can see anything in the tube. They never did with me... but then again, that was a crappy dr I went to then!!

Her last af was 10/11/01 and she thinks she O'd on cd16...

I am feeling better since several people have told me that they started out with low beta and prog and had healthy pg..

I totally know what you mean about feeling worse when it is you sister. Just last Thursday my sister had to have a D & C for a pg that stopped progressing at 8 weeks. The same thing happened me last march but when she called crying I think i felt worse for her then i did my self.

I am praying that your sister #'s come up.

I am sorry about your sister's loss too. I am praying that my sister doesn't have to go through this. It is harder to watch her. Thanks for understanding.
