Hi a,

is really against amnio and I didn't want to start a war so this is

what my doctor suggested. I may have quoted the wrong bloodtest, I don't

remember exactly what he said, but I'll ask next time I talk to him.

Pam and a,

I am thinking the same thing!!! To be almost 21 weeks and not be in

maternity clothes...WOW! Way to go a! I agree with you Pam

that although maternity clothes are not the most attractive, they are

sooo comfy! I also feel really big, although someone told me the

other day that for being 6 months, I don't look it. Maybe they were

just being nice...

That is sooo true...very few options on what to wear in the in-between

months. I mean right now I think I would look down right silly in

maternity, but don't fit into most of my pre-pg clothes (especially the

pants) and I'm normally not a very large person either..size 4-6 before pg.

I think part of my problem is for the past 3 months I have done absolutely

NO exercise cause I've been absolutely tired all the time and my rear end

started to expand some :o)...now that I'm getting some energy back I plan to

at least start walking on an almost daily basis

As for overalls...LOVE 'EM! They are by far my favorite thing to wear right

now, but I can't wear them to work :( That's my biggest problem, what to

wear to work. I have some summer dresses that are just roomy by the nature

of their style so those have worked well. I think I might go get a few more

so I don't feel like I'm wearing the same thing every day.

Hey, you are making me feel bad. I do want to show, and I feel that I

am showing, but no one besides DH seems to notice. On the contrary,

people remark that I am not showing at all. I am 5'8 " and have a

longish torso. I guess the baby has lots of space to hide. I got on a

scale today, and found that I had not gained any weight in almost two

weeks. Of course, that freaked me out as well. Last Fri the baby was

measuring right on schedule, and I hope things have continued to go

well.

kristina,

Oh...I didn't mean to make you feel bad ~ I'm sorry! I think everyone

is just so different in how they carry weight and babies. I am 5'5 "

and pre pg weighed 110. I've always had a high metabolism and have

been lucky enough not to have to watch my weight. In fact, if

anything, I have a hard time gaining weight. So, I think becasue I

was thin to begin with, the weight is showing more on me. I've heard

that if you are smaller, you tend to show quicker anyway. As far as

not having gained any weight in two weeks...my Dr. told me that there

are certain times and/or months where you will gain more or less. I

have noticed in the last few weeks that my appetite has decreased

considerably. I'm sure everything is perfectly fine!!!

Thanks a, it's nice to see there are some forward thinking people

in this world (even though they aren't here in my office!)

Well, you aren't really naming her after a living person...you are naming

her after your great-grandmother and dh's grandmother just happens to have

the same. Does that work? Can you get away with that reasoning? Just

trying to come up with a solution for ya :)

Yes, I asked someone and that's what they told me too. But the problem

is that my MIL did not like her MIL, so she may have a problem with

the name. She will be visiting in August, and I hope to work it out

then.
