Guest guest Posted April 22, 2004 Report Share Posted April 22, 2004 I had my ablation on Monday and am doing well. I was discharged the next day and stayed home from work an extra day. Currently on Verapamil(old), Asprin (old), Coumadin (new), and Lovemox (new). The lovemox is an injectable Heparin shot that i'm on for 3 more days. 2 shots a day. My EP felt things went very well. He tried to induce afib after the procedure and wasn't able to . I expect to be back to full speed by this weekend. The only minor setback has been that my right groin as been spotting the bandaids a bit. Lots of tests and followups in the future. Holter monitor at 8 wks. Event mon. at 10 weeks. ANother holter after that and a CAT scan at 6 months. I am in NSR but that is nothing new for me. The real test comes with strenuous exercise, as this is what sets me off.
