I am not following any plan, just trying to eat more sensibly and exercise just about every day, along with plenty of water. I cross stitch for a hobby, because I can't eat and stitch at the same time. Take care! Sharon
Guest guest
Robyn, I am doing just as much exercise as i can and WW points (sorta - i need to be better at it though). I am in the bay area, 22 (23 in june!!) and i have around 160 lbs to loose.. it's tough especially since i've been staying at 310 & 311 for the past few weeks. it sucks. but i'm not giving up...that would only mean those numbers will go up! Guest guest
Have any of you had problems with hair loss? I have lost app. 20% of my hair since going on synthroid. My hairline has receded and I am worried about losing it all. Does it grow back? Is this common with thyroid disease? I am on 113 mcgs of synthroid. The doctor says my throid is no longer functioning. She says I have Schmidt's syndrome. I went into menopause at 39 (she says it was premature ovarian failure). Apparently my body develops anitbodies to my glandular systems. Has anybody been diagnosed with this? Guest guest
yes, i very recently had a problem with hair loss. i was taking synthroid only, and when i washed my hair i had huge clumps of hair falling out from the root. a good brushing and i would have to empty the brush 3 or 4 times as it was full of hair. thank god i have VERY thick hair, but it had gotten to be very thin at the base of my head on one side. i started taking cytomel in addition to the synthroid a few weeks ago and have noticed a HUGE improvement! i am not the best one to explain the ins and outs of the medical explanation for the hair loss and meds, but i wanted to let you know that if it is medication related it seems, at least in my case, to be reversible. good luck! > > Have any of you had problems with hair loss?
