don't seem to apply to you. (Whereas they apply to me - it takes me 3

trips to fill my water glass, don't ask. Though I am amazed that I

can follow technical conversations quite well.)

Yes, I have been wearing maternity pants for about two weeks now.

Last Sunday I went shopping at Motherhood, and this week did some

more on the Web to fill out my wardrobe. I hope these things will tie

me over for a while. Luckily I live in LA, where the weather won't be

too different in October than it is in July. (I guess you live in

even a hotter climate).

What do women who live in cold climates do? Do you have to buy

maternity winter coats?

WOW! Now that was VERY impressive! Did you have to take notes? I

hope you have a great weekend and get a chance to relax and not have

Thanks! I hope you have a great weekend too! I don't think we're

going to get a baby shipment from the Co., so.......we're off tomorrow

to start ordering furniture. At least I didn't set myself up for some

great expectation, so I'm really not that surprised. We'll just have

to suck it up. At least it's all for our little darling ~ I have no

problem justifying that!

OK... Seeing as I was pg with in the winter I guess I can offer some input on this... I stole 's coat!!! La isn't extremely cold but it still seemed cold to us. I even remember being at a Mardi Gras parade in a sweater and a jacket and STILL confiscating 's coat. (Those rumors you hear about pg women emanating heat... not all true...) That's sort of a bummer about the Co. not sending a baby shipment, but you

are right, no matter what has to be done, it is all worth it for your little

one!!

Hi Elle,

Thanks for the encouragement on the weight loss!!! Only 21 lbs to

go.....well, 10 lbs until I'm happy, 15 until I'm really happy and 21

until I'm estatic!!!

Mikaela is just wonderful. She is still sleeping all night almost all

of the time. She is so happy in the mornings it just breaks my heart to

put her in the carseat and take her to the sitter's, but I enjoy my

nights and weekends with her. I'm taking her tonight to get more

pictures taken, JCP had this Angel promo going and they talked me into

it! I pick up her other pictures next Monday, so I'll try to post those

right away. The boys still love her like crazy. Matt was at boyscout

camp all last week, when we went Friday night to visit him at camp he

wanted to carry her all over the camp, he was a really proud big

brother!! He loved camp too. It's good to have him back though, he was

gone a little to long for me.
