Prolotherapy is benign injections into the area of tendons and

ligaments around joints to stimulate their growth. You can look it up

on www.prolotherapy.com

My hip was too far gone to try it, so I had some sessions for my

knees. The insurance will no longer cover it, so I am done. Can't say

I saw a big difference, but some people have. Maybe it depends on the

problem.

June I don't know anything about prolotherapy, although I believe some

on this site have tried it - HOWEVER anything that strengthens the

muscles around the joint will be of huge benefit to you after surgery.

The stronger you are the faster you will recover.
