Guest guest
Greg A very astute observation. Do you think it has anything to do with the way water goes down the plughole of the shower/bath - sucking on one leg before the other. The rotation of water in Australia being opposite to that in the Northern hemisphere. I wonder what your views are Skip? Is this anything to do with the secret of your spin bowlers? Rog Re; Statistical Question for Skip OOOrrrooo G'day Skip, I enjoy you're writings. I live in the backwords of Oregon over 'ere in Yankland, so I could easily be mistaken, but it was our understanding, in this country, that the people/voters in Florida didn't elect anybody. Now for the technical question. it seems to me thaat after having followed the postings on the Surface Hippy board for some time, I have come to the conclusion that in the US and northern EU most people's left hip has to get replaced first. I guess my question is: Is it the norm. for the right hip to need to be replaced first Down Under? And if so, do you think it has anything to do With the direction of rotation of the planet in relation to which hemisphere you live in? I know that sinks & loos swirl in different directions depending on whether the drain is going north or south. Maybe this is really a question for Geoffrey. I'm sure he's got the answer. Well, I've got to get goin'. Me an the boys are goin to go gimpin all over the wild wet woods an see if we can't scare us up one o them Sasquatch before new years. Guest guest
G'day , The secret of spin bowling is simple, we bowl the ball imparting spin to a worried batsman who is on the brink of tears because someone is actually trying to get him out, rather than facing a pie chucker week in week out in county cricket trying not to conceed runs. Or maybe it is the water thing? OOOrrrooo Skip > > > G'day Trudy, > > > Don't try and spoil my fun, I'm about to let rip!! > > > OOOrrrooo Skip > > > > > > Skippers, > > > > Go for it! Guest guest
Hi Greg Sorry to further disappoint you but my downunder LEFT BHR is progressing fairly well at almost 14 weeks post op and unlike Skip my family has been in the land of OZ for many years. Trying to remember which hip Edith had unfused and resurfaced - she will let us know. If it's the left it may be three strikes and your out. Right and your still in the game. Watch those Sasquatches if they're any thing like our Bunyips!!! All the best from Downunder Dasher

Guest guest
Hi Dasher, Looks like it is 3 strikes and Greg is out..... it is my left one wearing a shiny BHR............... however the first person I met with a BHR did have his right one done........ if that is any help Greg...........smile............. In the early days with my sample of 2 that did lead me to wonder if it was a male/female thing - as opposed to Nth/Sth Hemi thing - i.e. females had left and males had right.........and too bad for those with 2.......smile.......... Guest guest
Hi Dasher, It was just a thought. People have been telling me I've bin a bit out of touch for years. Never seen a Bunyip. I'd like to though. Never actually seen a sasquatch either, come to think of it, but there have been numerous published photos in some of the finest , most disreputable periodicals in the world. Love the game! Though I'll have to admit that at some times I think this whole cricket thing with it's absloutely incomprehensible terminology was made up solely to confuse poor simple mindecd Yanks like me. Thanks for the wishes & many more of the same to you, Greg on 12/29/02 3:32 PM, dasher3264 at hopash@... wrote: Hi Greg Sorry to further disappoint you but my downunder LEFT BHR is progressing fairly well at almost 14 weeks post op and unlike Skip my family has been in the land of OZ for many years. Guest guest
G'day to you too sir, I stand corrected, and after the day's events, I believe I shall forgoe the persuit of the Sasquatch and change my focus of attention to the cry of the Bunyip. Guest guest
Hello I don't really know what to say now Rog, I seem to have definately gotten my toe stuck in something today. A lot of times it seems like whenever I try to get anything done, I just end up walking around in circles. Maybe that's the cause of my hip problems. I already tried walking backwards half the time but that didn't seem to work. Guest guest
Hi Greg, Pehaps you could try walking in circles but in the opposite direction i.e. anti-clockwise instead of clockwise. Seems to do something for Skip even if its just a different view on things. I go into hospital (operation on my ear) this Saturday so I hope everything settles down by then. I've tried to post on TH - it let's me in but wont accept a message.
