Guest guest
Well, all the things I've been pestering you ladies with are exactly as you said...normal! I told dr about the discharge yesterday...not concerned in the least as long as it isn't bloody, then I need to call (as if I needed to be told that !) I asked about the lightheadness too and she said it is really common and even common to actually faint. I told her about my experience in church a couple wks ago and she said that's where it happens most often, church or the grocery store. Her explanation (in case anyone's interested) was that when pg your blood sugar can drop really low really fast so its best to snack between meals and also all the hormones make you warm all the time anyway so it is really easy to get overheated and causes the blood to rush out of your head (nice, huh?). But nothing to be concerned about...she did say if I've been noticing this lately I might not want to take a shower when I'm home alone cause the warm water can cause you to overheat quickly and faint. Anyway, the fun stuff...the little heartbeat was going at 155bpm! The litte bugger kept moving around so never got to hear for a very long time at once, but she said it sounded good. So far I've only gained 3lbs!!! I was very surprised by that. I didn't think I had gained alot, but I expected to hear a bigger number then that. Next appt I'll be almost 18wks and she said I should probably at least be feeling flutters by then (exciting!) and at that appt they will schedule my u/s for 20wks!!! WOW! I can't believe that all this exciting stuff is only 1 appt away. I know it is a whole month, but I've got school 4 nights/wk still for the next 2 wks so that part will fly past without me even noticing and then I've only got 2 more wks to the appt! I am getting sooooo very excited instead of being sooooo very nervous about everything!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY! -AmyR 13wk5d
