Guest guest
Hi After a meal, blood ketones go down whilst blood glucose goes up. By how much and how quickly depends on what is in the meal and the rates at which the foods are absorbed. This is normal variation, but 0.6 does sound low. For meaningful comparison, I always test immediately before a meal. Most meaningful I find is to test before breakfast. I only test her now and again when things are okay. These give comparisons for when things take a turn for the worse and when fine tuning, when I test more frequently. Guest guest
Hi, Could you tell us more about the monitors that you used for blood ketones? How accurate are they? Can you order online? When/how often did you check the blood ketones? Thanks!
