Guest guest
Nickie; You are the first we heard about personally with Erbitux. It is in a way similar to Avastin and we had it with the cpt11 which is Camptosar or Irenotacen. For Nick it worked wonders initially. Hope it does for you also. We experienced severe diarrhea also but the used lomitil I think and later 4 drops of paragoric and that woked. Here's hoping you good fortune continues and Erbitux makes the difference. hugs and prayers Nick & Jane

Guest guest
Nicky- I am so hoping that your dad has a great response. Keep us posted. My oncologist is suggesting that I consider trying Avastin for a while to give me a rest from the oxaliplatin, which is causing some progressive, although still mild, periperal neuropathy. I know Nick has been on it and had minimal problems with it. I would be interested in hearing on any one else's experiences with Avastin also. Best wishes, Kris
