Guest guest
155 this morning. That looks like a loss of five pounds from my last weigh-in at 160, about two weeks ago. But it's really not -- because according to the scale at the doctor's office when I went for the annual Pap test, my scale was about five pounds off, so I adjusted it. I'm glad to be five pounds closer to my goal (130) than I thought. But it's also a little discouraging to see no change in my real weight for a few weeks... I try to remind myself that hunger is good! But I don't seem to be convincing myself well enough. By the way, is it possible to enter my own weight into the spreadsheet? I thought I'd try but couldn't access the files just now -- Yahoo says they're temporarily unavailable. in PA

Sorry to say you cannot enter your own info on the spreadsheet tho...Yahoo only allows the ''creator''/poster to make permanent changes which is kind of a pain but at the same time is a good safeguard in case someone either felt devious and just wanted to muck it up or in the case of someone accidently changing or modifying it unintentionally!! Guest guest
Sue, Every scale is different so if your says 5 lbs less then it did 2 weeks ago then you are 5 lbs less. Yeah!!! Be happy! I have 2 different scales that are 6 lbs different and the gym I joined says different also. That's why it best to go by one scale and weigh the same time everyday. Think about this too though, are you changing habits? Are you exercising? Are you drinking water?....... The scale does not tell the whole story. It is more important to be getting control of habits, behaviors and lifestyle then how many pounds you lose. why? Because if you haven't changed habits, it doesn't matter how much weight you lose, it will come back if you aren't doing something you can stick with. So just keep at it, focus on the things you can do rather then a number on the scale. Only Shan can change the numbers on the spreadsheet. It is to easy to mess up if more than one person can do it so just report your weight here in a post for her. It helps if you put " weigh in " or " Shan " in the subject so she knows it's for her. In fact note to everyone, that really helps for those who don't have much time to put who you are replying to in the subject line. Also for those who get messages in digest would appreciate if things are cleaned up, delete at least the bottom of previous posts, leaving just the main thing you are replying to. Thanks :-) Gena > 155 this morning. That looks like a loss of five pounds from my last > weigh-in at 160, about two weeks ago. Look at it as a starting point. Good luck! Sharon
