Meaghan,

I'm glad you'll be writing your food journal. Somehow when I read what

others are eating it helps to keep ME in line. And gives good suggestions

for a change in what I eat.

All I can say is you are doing so much better than I am right now. The only

thing I could see would be the chocolate, BUT...... we're not supposed to

deny ourselves those little pleasures once in a while right?

Looks to me like you're doing great in the fruit/veg/water dept. Since you

haven't been able to exercise that could be why you've hit a plateau? Be

careful and don't go back with a vengeance, or you may reinjure yourself!!

I think once you get back to your regular routine, things will start moving

again.

Lots of luck to you.

Meaghan,

Have you ever tried the Smart Ones Chocolate Frozen treats? They last much

longer than candy and are real chocolaty And 100 calories. You would love

to live in my house. My DH works for one of the major candy companies and

all our closets are filled with samples. Makes it very difficult to stay on

track!!

Meaghan,

Willpower? Why do you think I weigh 236 lbs?? I've eaten my way though

closet after closet of chocolate. Now he's getting the WIlly Wonka stuff

(which breaks teeth if you're not careful) and thank goodness I don't care

for that as much as the chocloate. I've just had to say NO, since I've made

this decision to change. And also gotten SO sick from eating so much, I can

almost forget it's here.

But occasionally it does call my name!!!

Sue, Thank you for the reply. Cholcolate is my downfall. I don't

just allow myself to have it once in awhile either. Normally I have

it everyday, but I'm working on it-lol. (Hey atleast now it's not

after every meal.) I need to get more tootsie rolls, because I can

eat just two of the mini ones and be satisfied, and they're much

better for you then dove chocolate. Meaghan

I'm the same way, I HAVE to have some small dessert every day, or I end up

bingeing on dessert the next day. I am trying to train myself to at least

settle for less sinful desserts a few times a week... like jello with

fat-free whip cream... but that chocolate usually comes calling my name the

next day! LOL

-Jette, You are a woman after my own heart. I figure why eat if you

can't have chocolate too. Sue suggested Smart Ones Cholcolate Frozen

Treats. I'm going to try them. I don't care if it's the real stuff,

so long as it tastes like chocolate. I'm very proud of myself

though. I made brownies the other night for the kids and they

actually made it to the oven....(I LOVE BROWNIE BATTER). I didn't

even have one taste of the batter and only had about 1 " by 1/2 "

piece. Now they are gone and that is all I had. I was impressed

with myself for that one-lol. Meaghan

....Oh, I thought I had wrote that till I realised it said " (Hey

atleast now it's not AFTER every meal.) " Not " (Hey atleast now it's

not INSTEAD OF or FOR every meal.) " LOL

Ya, those mini tootsie rolls are good - you get plenty of chewing in

to help satisfy :-)
