Hi Gang! Geoff Crenshaw here.

I just finished reading cooky's update about the parking/leave/pay issue

versus her employer, the Government. It brought something to mind of

which we will all be well-advised to pay attention.

As everyone who is not living in a rock knows, abortion is legal in the

United States, no 'reason' required, even in the case of a full-term

healthy baby. Physician-assisted suicide is also legal in a great number

of the States.

Just within this past month one of the North Atlantic nations, I do not

recall which for certain: Denmark, Norway, Finland, one of those " up

there " - sorry - just made euthanasia legal. It made the press here in

the States but only in passing as a back-page article, being

overshadowed by the election issues in Florida.

QOL (Quality Of Life) is often used by *THIRD PARTIES* to determine YOUR

right to survival when you are (a) unconscious *OR* ( unable to

communicate.

With the recent penchant of the US Administration to 'follow' Europe vs

'lead' it, we should heed these issues loudly. Only those with that rock

now firmly ensconced in their skull are too dim to see the obvious

writing on this wall.

Health is no longer something to which we simply all ascribe, or even

hope; It is not something which keeps us from discomfort or disease;

Health, good health, the kind that does not " cost " the Government or

citizens money is fast becoming a self-defense issue on the order of

bearing arms.

Woe to us. Heal quickly, friends, heal quickly.
