I love my Yogourmet. It makes 2 qts at a time, in a single container...... but

there are also instructions on making a half-batch. It's very simple to use.....

when it's plugged in, it's on. No timer to re-set or anything..... so going a

full 24 hrs is easy. I just put a sticky note on top of the lid with the time it

went in, so I know when to take it out the next day. I bought an extra inner

batch container so I could start a new batch without transferring the last of

the yogurt out of the container it was made in. I love the fact that the lid of

the batch container snaps on nice and tight...... so you can actually lift the

entire container full of milk/yogurt by the edges of the lid without worrying

that it will come off. I paid about $50 for mine..... just did a net search and

bought from the most reputable looking company that had the best price. I think

it was www.juicersforless.com . You might want to shop around but it seemed like

they were about $60 most other places. I wouldn't recommend any of the makers

that have individual serving containers..... you'll just end up wishing you

could make a lot more yogurt all at once and have it in a single big container.

I know there is a cheaper one..... I think by Salton...... that make one quart.

I think it has a timer that stops it at 10 hours, though..... not sure.
