Guest guest
: Yeah, I know the orange was high carb, but actually, based on my ketosticks (sp?) it didn't do too much damage, I'm in ketosis. . . . and today, just haven't been hungry. Had half a bar at 3 grams, and lots of water, I'll eat something small later cuz I have to go to a birthday party. . . the cake and ice cream are no problem its the pizza that they'll probably have. Maybe I'll get lucky tho and they'll make hot dogs and burgers on the grill since its so nice out right now. Thanks Amy
Guest guest
Amy - PS on the shake - you can add some coffee into it in place of the water and it's sort of a mocha taste. As for the orange, that's really high in carbs. How about some Jell-O with sour cream? You could have an orange flavor.......... On the other hand, I finally got rid of all the fundraiser candy, exc. for one kitkat bar. . . and I didn't touch it. Only did a 10 minute brisk walk, I'm achy all over so did some stretching, too. Guest guest
, You just motivated me to make my first shake in over a year. I used a whey protein vanilla egg shake and put in cream, coffee, water, and ice cubes. It tastes great. This is what I would like to have for breakfast during the week but don't know if I can stomach it so early in the morning. My blender doesn't do a great job with ice cubes, what do you use. 14 cubes is a lot. I used four. corky Re: Amy acct/check in Amy - PS on the shake - you can add some coffee into it in place of the water and it's sort of a mocha taste. As for the orange, that's really high in carbs. Guest guest
Do you think the heavy cream would be funny after freezing it? I might try this. It's worth a try and it might be the solution.
