Guest guest
Hi Jenessa, Sounds like we're in a similar situation! I'm 28 and currently on day 9 of my second cycle and ttc after being on bcp for almost 10 years. I was so curious to know when I'd start ovulating that I took the suggestion of the board and invested in the Clear Blue Plan Fertility Monitor (a bit expensive but said to be a great way to find out patterns in your cycle and know exactly when you're ovulating). This is my first cycle using it so don't know for sure whether I'm ovulating (but my monitor said I was " high fertility " today suggesting there is LH running around --maybe stimulating an ovary). Currently debating if we should go ahead and try this month, though, as I'm getting over a uterine infection and still feel a bit swollen on my right uterus (then again, the doc said this could be a result of my body experiencing weirdness post bcp). And, C, read your message about the symptoms you had that appeared very pg related and I experienced that too during my first cycle off the pill (e.g. swollen/sensitive breasts, nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue). Amazing how pms and pg symptoms can appear so similar.... Best, Miriam 28, UD (ttc - on 2nd cycle after 10 yrs of bcp). jkrear wrote: <<Thanks for the babydust, everyone! Unfortunately, this month came and went with AF this morning. *sigh* Oh well, it's only the first month, and I'm sure my DH and I will have many fun weeks of TTC! And thankfully, AF came like clockwork this morning, so at least I know my cycles will be predictable. I know I shouldn't complain, since a lot of you on here have been TTC for a lot longer than one cycle. Guest guest
Miriam, Isn't it amazing, after years of feeling freakish and like you had nothing in common with anyone, to find someone in the EXACT position as you? That's funny, because we have a LOT in common. You'll have to keep me updated on your status through the next coming months. Hopefully we'll both have a lucky month this time around!! Wishing you lots of babydust, Jenessa UD, 27, and TTC (Cycle 2) > <<Thanks for the babydust, everyone! Guest guest
Hi Jenessa, It has been comforting to meet women and feel more " normal " after feeling so different for over 15 years....I was diagnosed at age 13 and would listen to family and friend's stories about their pregnancies and be very scared because I had no idea what pregnancy would be like for someone with UD. I definitely have more faith and confidence as a result of this group. Babydust to you too (and all who are ttc)! I'll keep you posted! Best wishes, Miriam 28, UD, & TTC (2nd cycle off of BCP) jkrear wrote: Miriam, Isn't it amazing, after years of feeling freakish and like you had nothing in common with anyone, to find someone in the EXACT position as you?
