Re: after resection surgery updates?

I had my resection July 23rd and am doing fine. I had one stitch in

my belly button that refused to fall out, but it finally came out

last week. I just got my first period after a 67 day cycle and am

waiting for one more period before we TTC. I've had no tests after

the surgery since the doctor showed me the pictures taken during it,

and there was no sign of a septum anymore, aside from a small

indentation.

I'm interested in hearing how everyone is doing!

I too was resected 09/03, waited 2 mths, had a follow up dye test.

Was given the go ahead, took us 3 mths to get pregnant but as of

today I am 4 weeks from my c-section!

Good luck with the c-section. I am sure the next 4 weeks will fly by.

I wish mine was planned. I went to the Doctor on a Thursday and he

said lets have a baby tomorrow, he completely freaked me out but I

waited until Monday and was able to have my big bundle of joy

natural. They had me convinced I would need a c-section because she

was so big. It was a big surprise when I was able to push her out in

15 minutes.

Hi !!

This is the first month back TTC after resection. I had mine done 06/25. I'm in

the 2WW right now...I'm excited to see what is going to happen.

Good luck to you...do you have the green light to try again?

I had my resection this past February. I got AF as schreduled. Dr. said to wait

TTC for two cycles. My third cycle I got PG but it turned out to be chemical pg.

My 4th cycle I took off due to too much TTC stress and my 5th cycle I got PG

again! I am now 12 weeks and 3 days! The first thing my OB said when she saw me

for this pregnancy was, " Good thing you got that septum removed! " I couldn't

agree more!!!!

Oh , it's only been a week since your surgery? WOW, how are you feeling. I

wasn't all that great a week later. Still was sore and tired, but I think I

pushed too hard the few days follwoiong surgery so that did me in and made

recovery longer.

I didn't have any tests done after to make sure everything was OK, I guess it's

just blind faith. I do have pictures in my chart, but at the appointment I

didn't look at them...silly I know. But I trust my doc and know they wouldn't

let me go ahead TTC if everything were not OK. At my next appt I will ask to see

the photos...hopefully that appt is to confirm a pregnancy!!
