Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear that the class was better this time. It's sad that they have to overcrowd you like that. I was lucky in that department at less, only about 8 couples. It was really cool when we went back to the reunion after all the babies were born. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann 2nd Class Hi all!Okay, my 2nd birthing class was a little better but not much. It was just so croweded so it was hard to get comfortable when we did the floor/breathing work. Dh did admit he has learned a lot and he knows what to expect from me during labor...I will probably want to be alone and will just let all my pain build up and take it out on him, LOL. Dh did learn a lot at the breastfeeding class too...I encourage any of you considering taking a breastfeeding class to do so with your dh. My dh had no clue how often the baby will need to be fed and the time it takes for each feeding. He realizes how I will need to be home more and work less :-)I only have two more weeks of school and then my big break...bare with me, I hope to get better caught up with you all then.I am getting so excited....time is really going by fast now!Hugs to all,33 Weeks

Guest guest
, Sorry to hear the birthing class wasn't much better. You would think they would try to limit the # of people in the class to make everyone more comfortable. Dh says he has a better idea of what to expect while you are in labor....he might be in for a big surprise!! LOL! Glad to hear dh didn't try to "get out" of gong to the breastfeeding class. It does sound like a good idea for daddy to go too! I know you will be thrilled when classes are done. I am so happy to have a break, alot less stressful!!! I can't believe you don't have too much longer to go!!......all these babies will be being born one right after another soon, huh? I guess will be the first to start the ball rolling!!! I can't wait to hear all about it!! Take care. Get more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
Hi Jo-Ann. That is neat your class had a reunion. My class has, last count, 19 couples! That is just too many, and of course there is one couple that always asks lots of dumb questions! Oh well. Dh and I get a laugh out of it anyway and it does give us time together...not that we need it since we work together :-) Sorry AI was so bad, I won't waste my money now. Dh and I saw Scary Movie 2 yestuday...it was very silly just like the first. Definitely not for the younger audience! I saw lots of previews for movies I would like to see..hopefully they will come out before Aug 21st! Guest guest
, Our lamaze class had a reunion at our house, it was a hoot!! It was really fun to see the other babies and to hear the stories from the other couples and to see that yes, your baby is normal for getting up 3 times a night!!! I felt so much better about being a parent and not so nervous with Matt after talking to all the other ladies. I had to laugh about the people in your class asking the " dumb " questions!! We had some Einsteins in our class too! It was all we could do to keep a straight face sometimes with some of their questions!! (like, after your water breaks, is the reason why you can't take a bath because the baby might drown.......hello, the baby isn't born yet!!!) Enjoy your last 7 weeks!! IS THAT ALL THE TIME THERE IS!!!! Sheesh this is going fast! Are you ready??? Vicki moniqueostash@... wrote: > > Hi Jo-Ann. > > That is neat your class had a reunion. Guest guest
, I know what you mean about one couple always asking dumb questions - there is one in every group. I remember one father asking "Will there be any blood involved?" It took everything in me to not fall off the chair laughing. I'm glad to hear you didn't waste your money on AI - I still can't get over the fact that Spielberg directed it, his films are usually excellent. I rented Pay It Forward and The Wedding Planner last night - they were both excellent. And the best part is I watched it from the comfort of my own couch. Guest guest
, I don't know if the lamaze group was neater, we are just in kind of a small town (pop. 6500) so we knew alot of the people, plus they put us in a BIG room! LOL! Lamaze is totally different now than when I went anyway. We served beer and wine at our reunion..... Lots of mothers that hadn't had a drink in a while...we all got tipsy and shared all of our L & D stories and baby stories. That is what made it so fun, then we lined all the babies up on the couch together and took their picture. I don't know if getting ready has anything to do with it, I wasn't ready with Matt and he came early and I WAS ready for Mikaela and she was late!! Well not really late, but late for me anyway. I only had a few of my baby clothes washed just in case she wasn't a she after all!! I think I had like 3 or 4 sleepers washed. Just make sure you have newborn diapers at home and all the stuff you won't want to " run " to the store for right away. It'll all work out.....7 more weeks....
