Guest guest
Wow, I would love to see that as well! My husband works around chemicals...if my offspring have a possible genetic risk I'd like to know about a chemical risk as well! That's interesting about your father, Beth...hmmm, interesting! Guest guest
Hi Beth, That's an interesting theory. My dad was a pharmacist, and back when I was born, pharmacists did all sorts of mixing of chemicals... And my Mom was a chemist analyzing metals. I'm sure she was exposed to all sorts of things. Makes me wonder... Guest guest
HI all, I'm new here, and thank God I found this. Doesn't seem like such a rare condition! As far as teratogens, I wonder what HSG and other diagnostics that radiate the unfertilized cause. Hasn't ionizing radiation to reproductive parts/eggs always been a known risk (thus lead aprons during a dental x-ray). I a, retty angry at the medical community for pushing these risly tests when alternatives are available. If you go to pubmed.com and do a search there is various research abstracts. I am trying to get my doc to do a sono hsg (no radiation) instead if he will go for that. I doscovered this becaue I am single and went to RE for AI. I am scared enough of any test, and now hearing about surgery and anesthesia I am terrified. I'm in NYC and may need a " surgery buddy " . Best to all Dallas, 42, 1 early m/c in April (the natural way), want to ttc soon, uterus anomaly unknown until test > > <<There is some thought in the medical > > community that MA's can be caused by a slight egg OR sperm mutation > > caused by exposure to chemicals or toxins. >> > > > > My dad was atom-bombed . . .
