Guest guest
Hi Marty, Congrats on your BFP!!!!! Thank you for the very good advice. The trick will definitely be folowing it! I am going to try. I was prescribed prometrium before we knew my levels because of my history. I asked my Dr. point blank about my levels and she said they were perfect. But I guess I don't believe her. She was very reassuring and calming during my other losses. She wants me to get to my 1st ultrasound on August 4th. I am counting down the days. Are you? Maybe I can relax until then. Let me know how your u/s is. Thanks for writing! Kim SU resected 2/04 pg 5 w1d Re: BFP but too scared to be happy Kim, Hi and CONGRATS! The HCG levels are great. The progesterone is on the lower side. Did the Dr. send you any progestterone supps like crinone or the like? I just recently found out I am also pg. 3 days after AF was scheduled to arrive got a blood test - My results were good (328 HCG and 26 progesterone). My Dr. thought the progesterone could use a little help so he prescribed crinone. That's why my earlier question. I understand where you are coming from being scared. But I am trying to learn from those who tell me to be calm and trust that all will be well. It is the same advice I send your way. It is easier said than done, I know. But keep trying. Enjoy the news and being pregnant! Guest guest
Hi, Kim Thanks for the congrats. > I went to a few websites and read that the normal progesterone levels for early preg are between 10 and 90 (with an average of 20 at 4 weeks). THat's the info I found, so that puts us both in the normal range. Isn't that nice? Friday seems to be so far away, it just seems like the days are at least 100 hours long, the hours feel like days. I can't wait until Friday! I know it's already Tuesday, but boy-oh-boy am I impatient. Once I hear the heartbeat, I think I will be able to relax a little bit more and get a nod from the Dr. I think you know where I'm coming from. The only thing I'm sad about is that DH won't be able to be with me. He has a business trip that just can't be cancelled or moved, Poor guy, he has tried everything > I guess I can't complain much, I am not having morning sickness or all day sickness, just bloating and constipation (raisins are my new best friends, but not even they are doing a good job. I am,, however, always tired, sleepy and at work I can't concentrate. Well I've given them 8 good years. They'll have to deal. Anyway, I'll write on Friday once the u/s is complete. > > > Marty > SU resected > 1 m/c > preg 6w4d
Guest guest
Hi Marty, I know what you mean about hours feeling like days. I am hoping Friday gets here as fast as possible for you. I have to wait until next Wed. ARGH! That is funny that you mention raisins. The reason I knew I was pregnant is because I woke up one morning with the biggest craving for raisins. I haven't wanted a raisin my whole life!!! I am a little worried that I don't feel pregnant. Whatever that means. No nausea either. I felt a little last week. I wonder why it went away? Oh, I can just see this now. Constant worry. Well I am glad to have a pg buddy. I am looking foward to hearing how Friday goes. Sorry dh can't be with you.
